Shakespeare in Song

The works of William Shakespeare have been presented and reinvented continuously since the 16th century, including as musical interpretations on Broadway and the West End. “Shakespeare in Song” is a cabaret-style revue of highlights from Shakespeare-inspired musicals like “West Side Story,” “Kiss Me Kate,” “Something Rotten,” and many more. Presented by a team of singers and musicians, and led by a musical Emcee, this musical show connects the historical timelessness of Shakespeare with contemporary issues like gender identity, inequality, and – of course – forbidden love.
